Cycling is fun until it`s not.  A cyclist accepts the ever changing conditions while outdoors. A cyclist should always be aware of the constant changing terrain and weather conditions. Other factors such as cultural shifts should also be considered. I cycle year round but I recognize that in the Winter it becomes more hazardous. Cyclists are often trying to get off the grid and escape what has fondly been deemed the Rat Race. While tough it is fun to try and along the way we might even make a friend. Michael Jackson wrote a beautiful song about just that. In this song MJ is referring to a rat. Quick note about rats the fancy rat (Rattus norvegicus domestica) is the domesticated form of Rattus norvegicus, the brown rat,and the most common species of rat kept as a pet. Cool!
