Meridian, Mississippi, is a place that I know very well. Simply put, I was born and raised there. Not only have I cycled every inch of it, but I´ve walked, driven, and skateboarded all over it. Great place with great people. German cities, towns, and villages have something in common with my hometown, and that is churches. Mississippi is part of what is commonly referred to as the Bible Belt in the United States. The Bible Belt is a region of the Southern United States and the Midwestern state of Missouri (which also has significant Southern influence), where evangelical Protestantism exerts a strong social and cultural influence.
