Zara Maria Larsson is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She first rose to prominence in 2008 after winning the second season of the Swedish talent show competition Talang. Larsson signed with TEN Music Group in 2012 and released her debut extended play (EP), Introducing, the following year. Its single "Uncover" charted at number one in Sweden, where it was certified 6× Platinum, and in Norway. Her debut studio album, 1, spawned the Swedish top-ten singles "Carry You Home" and "Rooftop".

Often the message is in the music, and it resounds to Heaven (The Rolling Stones | Sweet Sounds Of Heaven | Feat. Lady Gaga & Stevie Wonder) and beyond. I have not had the pleasure of cycling in Sweden, but it is definitely high on my list of places to go cycling. Zara Larsson, whose career I have followed for years, hails from Solna, a municipality in central Stockholm CountySweden, located just north of Stockholm City Centre, so maybe let's start there. Its seat is in the town of Solna, part of the Stockholm urban area. Solna is one of the wealthiest municipalities in Sweden. The municipality is part of Metropolitan Stockholm. None of the area is considered rural, which is unusual for Swedish municipalities, which normally are of mixed rural/urban character. Solna is the third-smallest municipality in Sweden by area, after nearby Sundbyberg and Burlöv in Scania County.   It seems that Swedish cities are relatively safe, and if Sweden is like most places in Europe, the roads will be marked.  In the capital, a ride of approximately 8 km around Riddarfjärden, in the heart of the city, showcases Stockholm at its finest. Starting at Stadshuset (Stockholm City Hall), make your way towards Gamla Stan (Old Town) before reaching Söder Mälarstrand on the south side. For some of the best views of the city, park your bike and climb up Skinnarviksberget before continuing back along the waterfront to Västerbron, the bridge across to Kungsholmen, which completes the circle. Along with a love of cycling, I also love hiking, so Sweden sounds like my kind of cycling adventure. For more info on cycling in Sweden, check out Visit Sweden.
